This is the second pair of Drew Glacier boots I’ve purchased. I wanted another pair in brown but Drew doesn’t seem to Be making more so I bought another color so I can keep my brown ones looking good.

These are my lawn mowing and yard boots. I have a 30 degree slope to my yard and a ouch mower so I need a shoe that will keep me in place and keep me from aggravating an Achilles tendon injury. I have spent probably 20 hours a week during the pandemic moving rocks up my hill and doing yard work and I have not had a single problem with my feet or ankles and I credit these boots for keeping me safe. I highly recommend them.

Pros:
  • Quality
Cons:
  • may need to size up
I ordered this lovely well made boot in December this year. I ordered my regular size as I read reviews and most said "true to size" though a few said order a size up or too narrow. I am normally a 9B in Brooks Ariel running shoes to fit my orthotics. I had called ICS and even Drew shoes regarding this model to ask if they ran true to size and was told that they did. Sadly for me I found this beautiful boot to be a bit too narrow in the toe box for me and too short as well. Not greatly but enough to know the 9 didn't fit. So I sent them back.. Measure your foot well and maybe call for free consultation re fitting. I loved the look of this boot and it is extremely well made. One thing I will add is that if you are bothered by anything metal touching your leg (like if your legs are larger/swollen etc) there is a metal piece on the inside of either side of the shoe that you can see in the photo. It isn't covered by cushioning. Most thick socks will probably make this a non issue though for people with larger lower legs, swelling, or that have to wear thin socks it might be a concern. Otherwise these boots are perfect.

Great hiking boots!

Pros:
  • quality
  • stability
  • waterproof
Cons:
I was going to Mt Shasta to hike and had just been diagnosed with metatarsalgia. I had gotten fitted for inserts but they weren't going to come in on time. I was really concerned about the pain and was looking for boots that would support my foot. I came across these and bought them online even though I was a bit concerned about the fit. I'm so glad I took the chance! These boots were awesome and I had no pain on the trip. They have built in inserts and are waterproof and extremely stable. Highly recommend!

Happy so far....

Pros:
  • Comfort
Cons:
I am happy with the fit of this boot. I wear 11 wide and wanted a waterproof boot with a flat sole. This boot fits perfectly. They are soft inside. I have neuropathy in my feet and stiff shoes are a problem for me. I have not worn them outdoors yet, so this review is limited to the out of the box fit and comfort. They appear well made so I am hoping they last a few winter seasons. Also, they are cute too.

This boot is the only boot/shoe that I can wear without pain. My feet are very sensitive and I have bunions and a very wide, hard to fit foot. I love these boots and they are very stylish!
