I have tried repeatedly to find a pair of wide enough shoes, and also a roomy emough toe box to accommodate my toe problems. I spoke with the ICS customer service person, who recommended I try the shoie I liked in the men's size. It worked.

Excellent service. I ordered online. Arrived within a reasonable amount of time. package and shoes were in great shape. My first pair of shoes with velcro straps. (arthritis in my fingers) Easy on / easy off! One issue I will mention. I have long, wide feet. therefore, I need size 14 5E. However, my feet are relatively thin. So, the straps when tight hang off the side of the shoes by a lot. If the straps were an inch shorter or adjustable they would be perfect for me. I understand they have to be manufactured to fit a wide range of feet. Just my opinion. Otherwise, they fit good, feel good, perform good and look good!

The customer service representative I spoke with understood right away the no women's sneakers were going to work with my width of shoe and my conditions (especially a recent bunion surgery) and had 2 styles immediately in mind, directing me how to call them up on my computer. She then recommended one as probably being the best choice because the other style had a harder plastic at the top of the toes. So I ordered exactly what she recommended, and they are perfect! Wide toe box, breathable fabric, removable inserts, and SO comfortable! It's been YEARS since I had a sneaker the really fits but is also supportive and comfortable! She also recommended diabetic socks that have really worked with the swelling I have when I'm on my feet during the day - non-binding, roomy, soft and non-irritating. Her follow up was also great, when I emailed her and asked how soon they would arrive, and she explained that they were shipping from Chicago and should only take a couple of business days. Again, she was spot on.

I spoke with a very knowledgeable representative that spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me. My mother has purchased 6 or 7 pairs of shoes to try and fit her swollen, large feet without success. She has been wearing slippers and continues to fall.

The Apis Mt. Emey 502-E for Severe Edema and Foot Ailments Shoe fits a little big on her, but is so superior to the shoes she has tried for months.

The hiking boots I purchased are a great fit. I have a really wide feet and the boots are wide enough for my feet to fit comfortably all day. It's been really cold this winter and the boots keep my feet dry and warm. I have great traction on wet grass, asphalt, and concrete. My only issue is the laces come undone and have to be retied several times a day. But, has they stretch, this seems to be happening less and less. These are the fourth pair of boots I have bought in the last two years and they have been the best by far. The other boots I have purchased in the past have already broken down and no longer fit to wear.

I have struggled for years to find shoes, sneakers, or even sandals, that would fit without rubbing and causing pain with my bunions and hammer toes. I talked to Josie here at ICS, and she gave me expert recommendations in just minutes, telling me that my width immediately ruled out women's shoes, and that I needed extra room in the toe box, along with extra depth and allowances for edema and fluctuating swelling. She worked with me on the phone while she gave me item numbers to type in on the website so I could view her 2 top choices. She then added that the second style had some sort of plastic wedge in the tip, so she believed her first recommendation, with a woven, breathable fabric, would work the best.



I admit, I was sceptical, but I was also desperate to find a sneaker with adequate support to wear after bunion surgery, so I ordered them. THEY FIT LIKE A GLOVE!!!! I also had the option of taking out the insert inside, which gave me even more depth, and makes them super comfy while I'm getting back on my feet after my recent bunion surgery.



She also recommended Dr. Comfort socks in a specific type and size at my request, which are also great, and don't bind around the shin area.



I couldn't be happier with the sneakers, and with her assistance! She also answered a question afterward via email about the delivery window, and the sneakers arrived just when she said they would, despite the winter weather!

I just received my perfect Ross Hommorshold shoes! I had wonderful guidance from the customer service representative, Josie, regarding style choice and fit. My feet are pretty average, so I never realized how much well made shoes, combined with the advice and knowledge of someone trained to understand the difference in individual feet, would make. I have bunions. The right one is on my big toe, and the left one is on my little toe. Josie directed me to a pair of dressy but understated shoes with an elastic gusset which allows a snug fit with no pressure on my bunions. The wonderful arch support allows me to stand for long periods of time without fatigue. From now on I will shop at ICS Comfort Shoes for good looking footwear with great customer support!

I had a crush foot injury, 19 years ago and there is nothing they’ve been able to do to relieve the pain. I’ve been able to get sneakers that will fit my foot (due to the accident I now have to wear a size 11 1/2-6E wide) I had to go up a 1/2 size, before the accident I had a wide foot but not 6EEEEEE!! Needless to say, trying to find a boot or sometimes even shoes have been near impossible! Til I encountered ICS! I got a pair of DREW/ROCKFORD boots that are the only pair that have ever fit! I received my Kita womens' slip-in shoes by Orthofeet yesterday and haven't wanted to take them off! They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. There is plenty of room in the toe area, yet they fit like a glove. I can slide my feet right into them without bending or using a shoe horn. The neutral, basic black makes them useful for every outfit. The soft fabric fits over my bunions like a gentle sock. I love my new ICS shoes!!

I have now purchased three pairs of shoes from ICS. Not only were their sales personnel willing to go the “extra mile “ to find shoes that would accommodate the bunion on my foot, they made it happen. I was told I could not have the surgery necessary to remove the bunion, so it was imperative that I find a comfortable shoe, size 10.5/6E. No other company was able to find such a shoe that would fit!!

With the help of a personal fitting specialist I found shoes that work well on my difficult to fit wide feet with various issues. They have great lugged soles for grip for long trail hiking and woods work. I am grateful for the good shoes and the excellent service.

Being a large adult with comparable feet, I turn to ICS for shoes. I get disappointed when my go-to specialty store is out of stock.

My husband has very wide feet. He suffered for years wearing shoes that really were not wide enough for him. The first time I found ICS I bought my husband work boots. I was able to get a size 5E. This was the first time he was comfortable in any type of shoe. He is retired now and doesn’t want to walk too much. For Christmas I ordered him 5E width sneakers. The next day we were out all day sightseeing Christmas decorations etc. He was walking faster than me which is unusual. He is usually dragging behind. So I was making a joke about his walking so quickly and he said “these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.” That was so wonderful to hear. I am ordering him another pair.
