This is the second pair of the same model of shoe that we have gotten for my husband who had an aneurysm caused stroke 37 years ago. It is very hard to find shoes wide enough to accommodate the brace he wears for foot drop on his right side and also fit his unaffected right foot. Because of the removable inserts this shoe makes that possible. They are comfortable for him and they wear well. They fasten with Velcro so he is able to put them on and take them off himself.

These are one of the best shoes I've ever tried. They wear great right out of the box... no breakin needed at all and thankfully they really ARE a 6E wide... many shoes advertised at such are to narrow when you get them. The customer care lady who helped me was wonderful... I think her name was Delores but not sure.
