In normally wear a 2E, but since these are boots that I will wear with thick socks in the winter, I ordered a 4E. I am glad that I ordered wider than my normal width because I have enough room in the boot with thick socks. I appreciate that my bunions and corn on my little toe have room and are not pressing against the boot. I gave four stars because the boot is loose and folds at the ankles above the instep. Maybe it is because I ordered a 4E width instead of my normal 2E. I’m willing to live with the awkwardness of the look in that area because my feet, even with thick socks on, have plenty of room. The quality of the boot is good
