Very good shoe, good traction, would be great if offered in a 14E width.

These shoes are protective, Saturday and look good so my husband with size 14 diabetic feet doesn’t mind wearing them. He has only two issues. The shoes plus his orthotics don’t allow any “road feel” so his balance is greatly affected. He has been going to physical therapy to help with this problem. The other issue is that the shoes don’t allow enough air to get to his feet so when the feet perspire, the socks stay wet. He changes socks after all physical activity weather is is a walk or just helping me with the dishes.

But he is able to be physically active with them and the rest can be handled.

The shoes are great. The laces work well but I hike on primitive trails with various plants on and next to the trails. The material on the lace attract weed seeds and stickers like Velcro.

Pros:
  • Consistent fit
  • appearance
  • protective
Cons:
  • Too little”road feel”w/orthotics in
This is my husband’s third pair. His pair #2 developed a defective eyelet about a month into wearing them. ICS Shoes took care of the problem promptly and shipped out a new pair which is perfect. So we ordered a third pair since he has three pairs of the orthotics to put in the shoes. His feet sweat a lot so he now can change the shoes and air them out.

These shoes are wonderful. They look great, not like orthopedic shoes at all but like regular sneakers and my husband is not adverse to wearing them. They fit superbly on his size 14-4E feet. They are heavy, thick and very protective for his fragile, tender diabetic feet. We are very pleased.

My autistic son has very wide feet and needs an 8e. I was hoping these would be the perfect fit, however, the shoe slips off his heel rendering them uncomfortable. If the heel were a bit higher (due to the thickness of the insole) it would work wonderfully.

My son has incredibly wide feet and often shoes take very long to break in and he is in pain. Not these shoes! They fit perfectly from the moment he put them on with NO pain!! This was the best find ever. Thank you so much!
