I have severe midfoot arthritis and plantar facitiis and my orthopedic surgeon has recommended "rocker bottom" shoes. These fit the bill. I do use a PowerStep Pro orthotic instead of the ones that come with the shoes. And there are plenty of inserts that come standard with the shoe; they just don't work as well for me like the PowerStep ones. I love these shoes and this is my second pair of Matrix One and I also have a couple of the Genesis style. My favorite though is the Matrix One (mesh and leather).
