The Optional Emergency Wall Communicator is ONLY available with the Freedom Alert System.
This wireless water-resistant device is designed to mount on a wall.
Mount one next to the bed-side table or even next to the shower in the bathroom.
These permanent communicators allow for full two-way voice communication anytime an emergency occurs.
Particularly handy if one forgets to carry their Pendant with them to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Operates in standby well over a year on 4 AAA alkaline batteries - and provides over 5 hours of talk time.

What system does the Emergency Wall Communicator (EWC) work with?
Emergency Wall Communicator (EWC) works ONLY with the Freedom Alert 911 System.
How does the EWC work?
It is very simple. You just push the red button on the Emergency Wall Communicator (EWC) and you can speak directly to a Friend, Family member
or the 911 operator from anywhere in or around the home. You do not
need to reach your regular telephone.
Do you have to be near the base station for someone to hear you?
No! Because the Freedom Alert is the world’s smallest
cordless speakerphone, you can speak directly to a Friend, Family
member or the 911 operator instantly from anywhere in or around the
home. This is the only product that allows you to speak from ANYWHERE
in your home, not just within 50 feet of a speakerphone. The EWC
range is up to 600 feet in a free-space environment! It will cover
typical American home.
Are there any monthly charges or contracts?
Absolutely Not! There are no monthly charges, no monitoring
fees, no contracts, ever. You purchase the Freedom Alert and it is
yours to keep and use forever.
What happens if I am unable to speak?
If you are unable to speak, the Freedom Alert can still
provide important information by utilizing the caller ID system. If the
person you are calling has caller ID, they will instantly know that it
is you that is calling. If the Freedom Alert is set to the 911
setting, the 911 operator will know your address from which you are
calling.
Is Freedom Alert water resistant?
Yes, the Emergency Wall Communicator (EWC) can be used in the shower even though we don’t recommend it as a normal practice. Its best to place the EWC just outside the shower area so that it
can be reached if needed. This unit is water resistant - NOT water-proof... so, it can sustain splashing but not being immersed in water.
