I never knew 9e width shoe's existed. I just thought there were only "Wide" shoe's. Imagine wearing shoes that were just Wide when you really needed 9e. The difference is like night and day, very comfortable right out of the box.

This is the first shoe we’ve found in over 4 years that fits!!! It could be a little wider but we’re thankful he now had shoes!!

9X shoes

These shoes are the widest shoes I could find. However, after wearing size 8 6E shoes for years, I find it hard to believe that your shoes are really 9E width. If they are, the shoes must run small. That being said, they are the widest shoes I could find and they are working out pretty well for me.

Great shoe

I son first bought these through a medical supply. His foot is very wide and it's hard to find shoes. The shoes are not to deep in the toe box, they fit great.

He has a very wide foot only, no medical condition, no swelling just wide. These shoes are awesome!! Thank you!!

These are more of a 6e than a 9e. I have wore them several times and they are still very tight.

Oh so close!

Pros:
  • Good wear characteristics
  • Decent support
Cons:
  • Width runs a little small.
Bought these in 11.5 9E about 5 months ago. My left foot is slightly wider than the right, so it's the one that will be most noticeable if a shoe is too tight. And out of the box, the left shoe was just slightly a little snug, so I would agree with the other reviewer they are closer to 6E than 9E. Still, until finding these I've never owned shoes that felt this good right off the bat. Within a few days they had given enough that there is virtually no pinching.

It is unfortunate that a shoe designed as a 9E would “run a little small”.

Still looking for the “perfect” shoe. But these will do until then.

Sigh………..

Cons:
A lot of snow and ice up here and the tread is excellent as the the lovely woman I spoke to on the phone indicated. I was relying on heavier boots as the snow fell. But these are so much lighter and more comfortable for getting around town. A great value too.
